New Dayz

Here we go...

The past few weeks my life has changed in many ways. My back has been broken and repaired. My spirit has been rejuvinated. I got a new haircut. It has snowed one day, and the next been warm enough to ride my motorcycle in the rain. However, the most noteworthy change in my life is the people that I have been around. My heart is pounding and I'm alive and finally feeling like I can rock climb and snowboard again! I've done physical therapy, yoga, studied scriptures and been taught by inspired disciples of Christ. In short, I feel very blessed by what has happened recently in my life.

Looking to the past I can acknowledge the hand of God in my life and know that there is purpose in all things. I've scraped my knees and bruised my shins. I've climbed mountains and swam in rivers. I've screamed with every breath I could muster and I've laughed with every tickled bone in my body. With every trial my smile only grows brighter and I trust the Lord with my future.

I've been home from my mission for almost a year now! Whoa! Now my life is going to take another turn. I just got accepted to BYU and am excited to continue my education. What I'm studying I don't know. I think I'd study everything if it was a major but, unfortunately, it's not... That is one thing I can say about myself, I love to learn! That's why I love life, everything is a learning experience. It's all for our progression and I love progress.

Well, I feel like I am rambling but I'm glad I have successfully made my first blog post. Hopefully there are many more to come that will be a little more focused and poetic. But, for now, this is it...
